Traditions/Operations E

Standard

Yesterday morning one of my roommates and I had traditions, our other 3 roommates had the afternoon session. I had to wake up around 5:30 in the morning because I needed to walk from The Commons to Chatham to catch the bus. I was a little disappointed because on all of the vlog videos I watched everyone was asked trivia questions on the bus, and that didn’t happen on my bus ride.  Once we got to Disney university we got split into smaller groups.  Oddly enough I met a girl from my college during traditions .They did ask some trivia questions there, and the facilitators were really upbeat even though the information was kind of boring.   After a little bit they told us that they needed us to leave the room to rearrange, and when we came back in there was big red boxes in the middle of our table. When we were allowed to open them we were all really excited to get our own pair of Mickey ears.  After that it was more or less as interesting as a lecture class in college.  Finally they took us on a tour of magic kingdom, and we got to see the utlidoors! When we came back our boss came to give us our name tags. (I tried to upload a picture, but wordpress is being dumb 😦 )  After traditions I rushed home and went to magic kingdom with a girl I met at check in and her roommates.  This morning I had to be at Disney university by 7:30 for operations E and and introduction to merchandise, yes these were just as exciting as they sound.  Although I was exhausted I’m glad to finally be starting my dcp experience, and all of the instructors were so enthusiastic and made me realize even more how lucky I am to be doing all of this.
